Calling all beer and book lovers: will you join our brewery book club? Every other month, we team up with the Cambridge Public Library to highlight contemporary works from marginalized voices. All over a fresh, craft beer, of course!
This month we are thrilled to read Land of Milk and Honey by C Pam Zhang! In this novel a chef finds herself in an elite community for the superrich in the Italian Alps, one of the last places on Earth where crops still grow.
We’ll gather in person in our Broadway location’s back taproom on Wednesday, May 8th at 7:00 pm for our monthly discussion. Grab a beer, cold brew, or kombucha at the front bar, then come find us in the back. The discussion is casual, and all are welcome – even if you don’t finish the book, we’d still love to have you.
So we can have a sense of numbers, please register on Eventbrite – it’s free, we just like to know how many folks we can expect.
There are print copies of Land of Milk and Honey available at the Cambridge Public Library Main Q&A Desk. E-book and digital audiobooks can also be borrowed through Libby. Let us know if you need help accessing the book.
Please note that our taprooms are 21+ and all guests should be prepared to show a valid, current government-issued photo ID at the door.
