Maurice Clerc is the Titular Organist Emeritus of the Cathédral in Dijon, France after serving as titular organist of this great instrument for forty-six years from 1972 until 2018. He was also a professor at the Conservatory of Dijon and lecturer at the University. He has performed some 1,300 concerts on four continents to great acclaim. Maurice Clerc recorded a dozen CDs including Bach and German baroque masters. However, having built up a reputation for romantic and modern repertoire, he is considered one of the specialists of the French music and has become attached to the promotion of the major works of Franck, Vierne, Dupré, Fleury, and Langlais. His most recent recordings include  Cochereau and French transcriptions.
