Learn from a chocolate historian about Massachusetts's rich chocolate history and get a treat! Held in a real chocolate factory.
Chocolate historian Victoria Kichuk, as heard on Boston Public Radio with Jim & Margery, comes to Tangle Chocolate with her collection of chocolate making tools, cookbooks, and historical memorabilia to teach us all about the incredibly rich history of chocolate right here in our state! For example, you know the story of the Boston Tea Party. But did you know that when the colonists stopped drinking tea due to taxation they turned to drinking chocolate? Or that American patriot and silversmith Paul Revere crafted dedicated drinking chocolate pots that can be seen at the Boston Museum of Fine Arts? Learn more about our sweet history with this fascinating program. The $20 ticket price includes a housemade chocolate treat.
