Join us for a reception celebrating Redemptions by Martin R. Anderson, on view at the Brookline Arts Center September 27-November 1, 2019.


Martin R. Anderson has had exhibitions of his found materials constructions, collages, paintings and photographs in many galleries in the greater Boston area and at AMP Gallery in Provincetown, where he has had two dune shack artist residencies. Originally from Norwich, CT he has resided in Brookline since his graduation from Boston University’s College of Fine Arts with a degree in acting.


Anderson works with objects that are “lost/abandoned/discarded” and otherwise forgotten or broken. “I rescue these singular orphans and, in the company of others, frame them as icons of the city.” The objects become “loved/favored/honored” as they are reclaimed and ressurected.
