The 17th Marshfield Community Rib Cook-off will be held on Saturday, September 6, 2025 from 12-7pm at the Marshfield Fairgrounds. Over the last 6 years we have distributed over $215,000 to local charities (see mcrco.org for a complete list). Our event will feature live music performed by Despite Dwight, Cindy Lou with three fine fellas and the Jody Moore Band. We will have a touch-a-truck including a Huey Helicopter and arts and crafts area for all children in attendance. Stellwagen Brewery, Break Rock Brewery, B’s Homemade Ice Cream, Scale and Spoon Cookies, South Shore Smoke House and the Cask and Flagon will be serving up brews, ice cream and delicious sides. Entry wristbands can be purchased in advance for $8.00, they will be $10.00 at the gate. Children under 12 are free. If you want to enter the rib cook-off, sponsor the event, or volunteer go to mcrco.org.
There is a limited capacity of ribs, but we will have plenty of food supplied by the Cask n Flagon and South Shore Smokehouse. Come enjoy some good food, music and help those in our community who are in need.
