This half-day conference sponsored and hosted by the MBA Marketing Club at Boston University's Questrom School of Business aims to bring professionals, academics, and students together for a dialogue about pressing issues for marketing professionals across industries. Each year, marketing experts lead discussions on their areas of expertise, macro trends in the profession, and best practices.


2017's topic: Turning Insights into Action
Marketers have many challenges in our changing world. One of the most important is how to find the balance between the numbers in our data driven environment and intuition with our past history. We need to find the core insights to create actionable business results. These new tools can help us do that even better, but they can also be overwhelming. We will explore various topics in our discussions: Beyond content: how do we measure success? If the information conflicts, how do you make a decision? Do 1 million likes on social media translate to impactful business results?
