OAK Long Bar + Kitchen introduces a farm-to-bar culinary experience that begins just steps from our front door. Offered alongside the Copley Square Farmer’s Market, guests meet at OAK, where they’re joined by one of our chefs for a quick walk across the street to the market. With an expert eye and a keen sense of seasonality, the chef navigates the vendor landscape, uncovering the stories and ingredients that define Boston’s local food scene.
Back at the restaurant, guests pull up a seat at the 83-foot copper bar and hand the reins over to an expert mixologist, who walks them through the craft of cocktail (or mocktail) making utilizing their recently procured bounty. It’s part tutorial, part conversation, with a natural moment to learn about the storied history of the room and the hotel that surrounds it. While glasses are being raised, the chef quietly disappears into the kitchen to turn the morning’s market haul into a fresh-from-the-market entrée to round out the afternoon. Continue your culinary exploration at home with a branded farmers market tote and recipe card.
