Immerse yourself in five days of Turkish marbling on paper, wood, and textiles! Cristina will teach traditional combed patterns and techniques that can produce lovely figurative designs of fish, flowers, birds, and abstract shapes. Floating designs may be free-form, combed, or even blown. Prints will be made on paper and fabrics in a linear fashion; dimensional objects will be rolled across the vats, and items can be dunked into deep vats.


Each day will have a special focus with ample time to experiment, create your own style, and a truly unique portfolio of marbled work. Projects include paper lanterns, vintage linens, wooden bowls and plates, terracotta, silk scarves, and more.
