Marathi and Konkani people make up the majority in Maharashtra state in India. They live in the same neighborhoods—the same buildings—and make the same foods, but the flavor profiles are completely different. In this class, we will make two dishes Marathi-style and the same two dishes Konkani style to explore the effect of spices and techniques on the resulting flavor of the dish. Sunday, 1-4pm. Oct. 20 The cost of tuition includes all food materials and fees.
