Saturday, March 5: 10-11:30am, 12:30-2pm, 2:30-4pm
Join us as we tap, collect, and boil down sap from the maple trees found at the Boston Nature Center. Try your hand at tapping the tree, and enjoy some fresh sap! You will learn about the different techniques and equipment used across New England and why Sugar Maples are so unique. Explore the trails during a self-guided story book walk and scavenger hunt. Enjoy a tasty maple treat as well!
PLEASE NOTE: This program will be conducted in accordance with current Municipal, State, and Mass Audubon Covid-19 protocols. Groups are limited to 25 pre-registered children and adults. Participants are required to wear a face covering indoors and follow social distancing guidelines.
Each time slot will have a maximum of 25 people.
