This event is rain or shine
Join us for a relaxing and fun day of mahjong by the sea! Whether you're learning for the first time, want a little extra guidance, or are ready to play with seasoned pros, there's a spot for you at the table. Volunteer instructors will be onsite to help new players learn and answer any questions.
It's not just mahjong — we'll also have board games, some DIY crafts and music. Feel free to bring your own picnic setup, lawn chair, beach games, or mahjong set. There's no such thing as too much mahjong!
Location & Amenities:
We'll be set up at the Pleasure Bay flagpole, right by the beach and the Castle Island boardwalk. When you're not playing, feel free to take a stroll, go for a swim, or just enjoy the breeze!
There’s also a playground at nearby Marine Park for families with kids.
ADA porta-potty available.
Tickets:
FREE admission. Please RSVP via Eventbrite so we can gauge headcount.
*RSVPing doesn’t guarantee immediate play. We may have a wait or time limit depending on turnout. But don’t worry, there’ll be plenty of fun happening around the beach while you wait!
