Macro Photography with Boston Photography Workshops

Class Description:
- Tuition: $150
- Class Size: 4
- Duration: 3.5 hours
- Skill Level: Beginner; Digital Cameras I or equivalent strongly recommended

Macro photography, simply put, is the process of creating extreme close-up photographs; capturing small items in larger-than-life detail. Imagine dewdrops on a rose petal, the microscopic hairs on a bumblebee’s legs, or the individual barbs of a bird’s feathers.
Simple as this may sound, students need the right tools and techniques to achieve these incredible results. By using special equipment that we will provide to students, they can create images that enlarge the smallest items and make unbelievable photos of everyday objects.

Health and safety requirements:
-Masks and face coverings are optional for our fully vaccinated students while in our studio. Please note that masks are still required for all students and staff when in the public areas of our building (hallways, restrooms, and lobbies).
-At this time, we ask that unvaccinated students / students who have not yet been fully vaccinated practice health-conscious and community-minded measures by wearing a mask for the duration of the class.
-Students and instructors will maintain safe physical distancing at all times
-Hand sanitizer will be available, however, participants are encouraged to also bring their own.
