Lovestruck Books & Cafe is turning ONE—and we’re ready to party with you! 💘
We’re celebrating our very first anniversary with a swoon-worthy lineup of bookish fun and exclusive offers from 11am to 4 pm, Friday through Sunday, PLUS ticketed romance author events on select evenings! Here’s a little teaser of what’s in store for Friday’s daytime celebration:
All Day, 10am - 5 pm

- Save your page in style by crafting your own unique metal bookmark featuring beads and charms inspired by Lovestruck Books & Cafe and George Howell Coffee. Package it up in a specialty gift box made to look like a book, a cute keepsake for your nightstand or bookshelf. | $8 per bookmark, available for purchase during the event.
12 - 4pm:
- 🧵Chain Stitching by KEEPER
- Live embroidery of your first name or initials! | Free with the purchase of a Limited Edition Lovestruck Books & Cafe One Year tote bag!
1 - 3pm:
- 📚 Pop-Up Poetry with Iman Khondker
- Share a moment with Iman, and leave with a poem written just for you. | $15 per poem, available for purchase during the event.
💌 Swing by our postcard station to pen a note to your crush, bestie, or anyone you love! | Limited edition Lovestruck postcard included with any purchase in-store during the event.

Activities are available on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last. Dress warmly, there may be a wait to enter the store!

ABOUT THE CREATIVE NEST
The Creative Nest is a Boston-based pop-up craft bar founded by Tiffany, a lifelong explorer of creative hobbies. Inspired by hands-on experiences from fake food workshops in Japan to leather crafting in Taiwan, Tiffany created The Creative Nest as a fun, low-pressure space for people to try something new. Featuring interactive stations, The Creative Nest brings DIY joy to parties, markets, and events — no experience required, just a love for getting a little crafty.
ABOUT KEEPER
A full service old-school style embroidery shop and an event studio specializing in garment customization. The union of Boston based chainstitchers, Amelia Fitch and Sam Lee, use vintage hand-guided chainstitch machines to decorate garments, accessories and more. They teamed up in 2024 to the store at Somerville's Bow Market, and create a unique offering for live customization events in and beyond the Boston area.
ABOUT THE POET: IMAN KHONDKER
Iman is a Bangladeshi American poet who has been writing custom typewriter poems at weddings, parties, and events since 2017. With a background in spoken word and a passion for turning emotions into tangible keepsakes, Iman creates moments of genuine connection—where guests often laugh, cry, and leave with a poem they’ll treasure. A multidisciplinary artist and chef, Iman recently relocated from Brooklyn to Boston and brings a handmade, heartfelt touch to every event.
