We love beer, and we love cheese, so we're putting the two together in a pairing series celebrating local farms and creameries. We'll select a new farm each time and prepare a curated flight of different cheese varieties and beer styles for you to enjoy! Menu and serving details below.

August 2019: Cricket Creek Farm (Williamstown, MA)

--

Washed in local bourbon from Berkshire Mountain Distillers, Sophelise melds funky aromas and clean, lactic flavors into one creamy little package.

Pair Sophelise with Ginger Spectacular, our farmhouse ale brewed with ginger and honey. Its esters and spice will complement the funky flavors of this unique cheese.

--

Berkshire Bloom is a Camembert-style cheese. With a thin and supple bloomy rind, a mushroomy creamline, and a tangy, mild interior, this cheese is delicate in flavor, but durable in structure.

Shadows Fruit Ale is brewed with local malts and Italian plum. Its light, toasty notes and stone fruit flavor will be a great match for Berkshire Bloom!

--

Maggie’s Round is a semi-firm, raw milk cheese inspired by the tomas of the Italian Alps. The flavor is gently sharp, sweet, bright and fruity, with notes of citrus – especially lemon curd. The rustic natural rind adds earthiness.

Try Maggie’s with our flagship IPA, Wasted Life. Balanced yet flavorful, approachable yet complex, and complementary with its notes of orange candy, pineapple, and light caramel.

--

Thanks to the delicious milk of Jersey and Brown Swiss cows, Cricket Creek Farm Feta is remarkably creamy and fresh, while suitably crumbly and briney.

Try Feta with Key Lime White - its tangy acidity is a great complement to this (any pretty much any) feta.

We'll be serving these cheeses alongside the recommended beer flight for $25. Eventually, we plan to sell cheese by the wedge in the taproom (ordered a la carte) but for now we're getting to know our local options! We would love to hear your feedback as we explore this new program.
