About This Workshop
As human beings, we naturally gravitate towards the negative, and we tend to let negative events take over our lives. As such, we take positive events for granted, and because of this negativity bias, sometimes we are not even aware of all the good stuff in our lives.
Using a framework of positive psychology, complemented by coaching tools, this class will help you become more aware of your emotions, thoughts and beliefs. You will learn how to enhance the amount of positivity you have in your life, make positive choices and handle the curveballs that life throws at you.
- Identify the value of negative and positive emotions.
- Describe the negativity bias of the brain, and learn about the evolutionary role of negative emotions.
- Become more aware of your emotions, and learn how to work with the emotions to make you healthier, more resilient and efficacious.
- Recognize the beliefs that empower you, and part with those holding you back.
