Actors and even live animals are on tap at a Live Nativity hosted by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Hingham on Saturday December 11, 2021. Participants will stroll through four vignettes that tell the story of the birth of Jesus Christ.
The Church's exterior will be transformed into various stages for the live actors and animals to present the story of the Nativity.
The event is free and open to the public. No reservations are required. Complimentary cookies and hot chocolate will be provided to all guests.
As part of the evening’s theme of giving back to the community, members of The Church of Jesus Christ will also be accepting donations of canned and dry goods that evening. All food collected will be donated to local food pantries. Last year this event resulted in over 3,000lbs of food donated to local emergency food programs.
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is located at 379 Gardner Street in Hingham. The Live Nativity will take place at the chapel on Saturday, December 11, 2021 from 5-8pm.
