Not enough noise for you in the scene these days. So we dedicated our 10th installment of the Boston Underground Summit to extreme noise and other kinds of heavy musics. What does that mean. Well PANICSVILLE is on tour from Chicago celebrating 25 years making demented sounds (and visuals) underground and they are the guest of honor tonight playing their set at the end of an insane round robin featuring experimental grind and metal matchmakers DIVA KARR, the ultra-engaging, heavily propped performance artist known as CRANK STURGEON, the defiant, crushing groovy rock of YAHKEL, electronic trash floor-dwelling noise duo S NICAENUM, menacing eulogy tunes of MANES PROPHET (VT), freaky mathed-out aggro rock from SERVICE and the band +DOG+ (that's spelled with plus signs), is actually noise, is not actually a band and has been making fucked up shit for 20 years. Doesn't get any lower in the underground than this. And where else? The Elks. -Sam P


The 8 bands will set up round-robin-style in two rooms, 3 stages and take turns playing a song. When the cycle is complete, the loop repeats again...and again... and again. UNTIL THE SHOW ENDS!
