Live at Five: Virtual Happy Hour Concert Series with Amanda McCarthy

It’s Friday. You head straight to the bar after work, meet a friend and start recapping your week. You stop for a second to listen to the singer playing an acoustic guitar in the corner of the bar. “She’s really good!” you say, and you keep one ear tuned to the music the rest of the night, and make sure to drop a few bucks in the tip jar.

You can’t do that right now, exactly, but The Boston Calendar's Live at Five: Virtual Happy Hour Concert Series is pretty close. Every Friday at 5 p.m., tune in via Facebook Live or Instagram Live to enjoy a short set of live music from a local artist.

This week we’re featuring pop/country singer-songwriter Amanda McCarthy, the 2019 New England Music Awards winner for songwriter of the year who also boasts an incredible voice.
