Children and their caregivers are invited to spend an afternoon in the Stevens-Coolidge Place gardens under the shade of a tree. Will it be a Giving Tree? A Truffula tree? You can use your imagination or simply wait and see.


Using Dr. Seuss' "The Lorax" and Shel Silverstein's "The Giving Tree" as inspiration, participants will create their very own giving tree in the gardens, enjoy truffula tree snacks, complete a scavenger hunt based on events in the stories, and do it all while wearing a Lorax mustache of their own creation.
