Lion’s Jaw is a new Boston-based performance + dance festival that assembles a group of national choreographers, performers, educators + students to study, perform + create together for duration in an intensive environment.


Every day for 5 days, from 9am until 10pm, Lion’s Jaw will run daily classes, labs + research inside a dedicated space. The festival strives to build an environment that fosters risk, rigor + rebellion, the exchange of ideas, inter-disciplinary exploration + the training necessary to provide dance-artists with tools + pathways into new ways of engaging with dance as both research + performance.

Performances


There will be 1 semi-formal group evening performance for attendees of the festival as well as 2 performances open to the public.
Public performances will be located at Green Street Studios in Cambridge on Friday October 7th + Saturday October 8th. Showtimes are at 8pm. Tickets available at the door + online. Online ticketing for performances available September 1st.
