As one of the region’s lesser known lighthouses, Ned’s Point Light has perched quietly on the shores of southern Massachusetts since 1838. Mattapoisett Memorial Park is situated along the flat and calm waterfront offering a tranquil and easily navigated area for any photographer. This modest lighthouse offers spectacular photos of the sea and the structure during sunrise and sunset.
All students should be familiar with basic camera functions, or have already participated in Digital Camera 1 or equivalent in order to participate.
Health and safety requirements:
-Beginning on June 1, 2021, masks and face coverings are optional for our fully vaccinated students. At this time, we ask that unvaccinated students / students who have not yet been fully vaccinated practice health-conscious and community-minded measures by wearing a mask for the duration of the class.
-Students and instructors will maintain safe physical distancing at all times
-Hand sanitizer will be available, however, participants are encouraged to also bring their own.
