Light the Night is a wonderful event held each year in the Boston Commons to raise funds for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Families, friends, and survivors walk around the park with lanterns illuminating the night with colors of hope and healing.
This year Einat will be leading a team and be walking in honor of her father, who passed away in November 2013 from a combination of both of these terrible types of blood cancers, which he fought valiantly for nine short months. Einat's father was a professional musician, a flutist, so it seems appropriate to remember him with music. He was inspiring, funny, caring, sensitive, and full of life and remains with her with every step she takes.
She would like to dedicate an evening of fundraising in his memory. Her husband Mickey, a cellist with the Boston Symphony Orchestra, will play a selection from Bach's suites for unaccompanied cello while you flow and breathe to the music.
This will be a minimally guided flow to allow for the music to speak directly to the body, so a basic understanding of flow foundations is required. You will talk less and feel and listen more.
