THE CLASS

An exploration of improv games, acting, and activities to expand social skills, teamwork and more! Students will increase their decisiveness and communication skills, sharpen awareness and listening skills, and increase their ability to react well to surprises and overcome the fear of failure. This beginner to intermediate workshop is great for those with no or little improv or acting background. Improvisors will end the sessions with a performance for family and friends.


THE INSTRUCTOR

Shiyanbade Animashaun is a creative and tech consultant. She enjoys solving complex problems and influencing people positively. She is the founder of KEAJO, a consulting firm primarily focused on solving problems for technical teams, with a unique mix of services and tools that blend technology, art, and education. Also Shiyanbade is a founding member of The Nova Comedy Collective, Via ImprovBoston, Catalyst Comedy, the Women in Comedy Festival, and more. She has performed in various corporate training, resident and indie improv casts. Shiyanbade has worked in storytelling / sketch teams, musicals, podcasts, and video productions. She has directed, produced, and taught various improv casts and has led executive training sessions, workshops and classes for 5000+ individuals of all ages. With 10+ years of formal improv training, she believes that care is its greatest lesson. You can find more of her work at keajo.com
