The weather’s finally getting nice, summer’s around the corner and the baseball season is still a month away. If you can’t wait for Opening Day, how about a Musical Baseball Show right in the comfort of your own home?
Using Zoom, the Seekonk Public Library is presenting a virtual baseball concert, Let’s Play Ball, on Thursday, June 11, at 6 PM. This unique program, featuring local singer-songwriter Howie Newman, includes baseball songs, trivia, stories about his time on the Red Sox beat and a few surprises.
The show is free and open to the public through sponsorship from the Friends of the Seekonk Public Library, but registrations are required. Register in the Events Calendar at www.seekonkpl.org to receive the login information.
