Let's Go River Tubing!

Lay back and relax as we float down the Saco River! Depending on the water levels, the Saco River is approx. three feet deep (some short sections may be deeper or shallower). It also has some small rapids, sandy beaches and rope swings. The rental company will provide us with life jackets, tubes with backrests and cupholders, and lanyards to connect the tubes (if we want to float together). Please note that there are no lifeguards on duty along the Saco River. We will be floating on the Redstone to Saco Bound Trip, which is the longest float.

We will be spending 4 hours on the river, depending on the river level. We will be shuttled from the rental office to a private launch point and float back down to the landing where our cars will be parked.

If someone brings a cooler that is 15’’ x 27’’ or smaller, we can also rent a cooler tube for $30 to store all of our drinks, ice, snacks and food. In addition, the rental company also sells dry bags for $10 if you wish to take any valuables or electronics with you on the river.

What to Bring:

Sunscreen, bug spray, hat and sunglasses

Bathing suit and flip flops/water shoes

A bag to hold your wet bathing suit during the ride home

A change of clothes and towel

Form of ID

Water, food, snacks and booze

If you have a cooler, please bring it! We can pick up ice on the ride up.
