Join Marlene and learn to make healthy, gourmet meals without a recipe! Cook with Marlene as a Participant or be part of the Audience if you just want to watch. In this unique class format which models lifestyle cooking, we’ll focus on learning processes, techniques and practical (sometimes geeky) science so you’re not recipe-dependent. You’ll learn about new ingredients and health benefits, work with what’s on hand and how to substitute. Oftentimes we’ll work with leftovers and turn them into beaux restes, beautifully repurposed leftover dishes! It’s a class where we experiment and play. Menus change every class and are created based on what’s in Marlene’s pantry. Menu/ingredients/gadgets are posted on social media a few days before so you can cook along. Registered Participants/Audience will be sent this info as well. Though we don’t use recipes, Participants and Audience will have access to the video afterwards.

How this works:

• 2 ticket types are available: Participant- $20 (interactive access) and Audience- $5 (observer with limited access) see below for more info*

• Menus/ingredients/gadgets are posted on Facebook/Instragram #letscookmenu 4 days before class. Registered participants will also receive this info 3 days and 24 hours before class.

• Class fee is per household; you can have as many cooks in your kitchen as you like

• Classes are 1 1/2 to 2 hours

• 10 minute Q&A at end of class for Audience questions.

• Each class is a password-protected Zoom session. You'll receive an email with Zoom info 24 hours prior to your class along with your menu/ingredients/gadgets reminder. This is an automated email so make sure to check your spam folder. If you did not receive the info, it is your responsibility to call us at least 6 hours before class for a re-send.
