The Lesley University MFA in Creative Writing program presents its Evening Reading + Conversation Series, featuring readings by faculty, alumni and students. Events will be held virtually via Zoom, June 19-26, and are free and open to the public.


The series will include 2015-2019 Boston Poet Laureate Danielle Legros Georges as well as Jason Reynolds, the National Ambassador for Young People’s Literature and best-selling author of “Long Way Down,” “All American Boys, and co-author of “Stamped: Racism, Antiracism, and You: A Remix of the National Book Award-winning Stamped from the Beginning” with Ibram X. Kendi.

Michelle Knudsen, New York Times best-selling author of more than 45 books for children and young adults, including “The Evil Librarian” series.


July Westhale, essayist, translator, and author of five collections of poetry, including “Trailer Trash.”

David Elliott, New York Times best-selling author, whose titles include “Bull,” a retelling of the Minotaur myth, and “Voices: The Final Hours of Joan of Arc.”


Danielle Legros Georges, the 2015-2019 Boston Poet Laureate and author of “The Dear Remote Nearness of You” and “Maroon.”

Erin Belieu, author of five poetry collections, including the forthcoming “Come-Hither Honeycomb.”
