Also known as "crash course for complete beginners", this popular workshop introduces the necessary steps to get you started. There are NO pre-requisites.


Bring your own ukulele or else reserve one for rent. There's a choice of size, make, etc. Discount on purchase after the workshop.


Decide after this workshop if you'd like to continue onto the weekly classes or schedule individual or small group lessons. Weekly classes are 6 to 7 pm on Wed 11/13, 11/ 20, 12/4, and 12/11. $100 for all four classes.

About the instructor:


Anne Ku wrote her MA in Music thesis on ukulele song sheets and participative music making after teaching music at University of Hawaii Maui College.

What was once the former administrative building of the oldest chocolate factory in the USA: Walter Baker Artist Lofts is home to independent artists a.k.a. Walter Baker Building at 1231 Adams Street, Dorchester (Boston), Massachusetts 02124, near the Milton T-station. Free street parking and nearby approved lots. We meet in the Common Room, which has natural light and high ceilings.

Note: Please do not park in the Baker Square parking lot visitors spaces behind the Walter Baker Building as you may get towed. A hang tag from a resident is required for any car in a visitor's space.
