We're back from our summer break to bring you Laughing Liberally Boston, a political comedy show featuring some of Boston’s top liberal and progressive comedians.

In addition to some of the finest progressive comedians Boston has to offer, each Laughing Liberally Boston show will feature a special interview segment with a local political figure, journalist or activist. This month’s guest is Jaclyn Friedman.


Jaclyn Friedman’s work has redefined the concept of “healthy sexuality” and popularized the “yes means yes” standard of sexual consent that is quickly becoming law on many U.S. campuses. She is a popular speaker and opinion writer and the creator of three books: Yes Means Yes: Visions of Female Sexual Power and a World Without Rape, What You Really Really Want: The Smart Girl’s Shame-Free Guide to Sex & Safety, and the forthcoming Unscrewed: Women, Sex, Power and How to Stop Letting the System Screw Us All. Friedman hosts Unscrewed, a critically acclaimed podcast exploring paths to sexual liberation.


Laughing Liberally Boston takes place the second Saturday of every month, with the next show on Saturday October 14th at 8pm at Cafe At the Armory, 191 Highland Ave, Somerville, MA 02143. Admission is $8 online and $10 at the door.
