Based on the son traditions of Caribbean music, this is a trio comprising Puerto Rican cuatro, congas, timbales, flute, clarinet, sax, and voice. With a repertoire that brings together the best of Latin music, Latin jazz, salsa and bolero, Latin Trident aims to collect the Latin heritage and expose it in a new, more musically contemporary language.
This concert is presented in partnership by the Boston Public Library and the Berklee College of Music as part of BPL's Concerts in the Courtyard series sponsored by Bank of America. Registration is not required but seating is first come, first served. In the event of inclement weather, the concert will be moved indoors.
