Please join us for the last Community Meditation Night at Ten Thousand Villages in Cambridge...
"Mindful Boston Meditation Nights at our Cambridge store began in April 2013 soon after the Boston Marathon Bombings. It is with a heavy heart that I announce March 25, 2017 will be the last Community Meditation Night at this location as Ten Thousand Villages in Central Square closes its doors for the last time." ~ Gia Stull, former Store Manager for Cambridge
Gia will be present to participate and say a few words about this very significant event and partnership between Ten Thousand Villages and Mindful Boston.
Gena Bean, Founder of Mindful Boston will be leading this Meditation on Lovingkindness.
From the Mindful Boston website:
Community meditation nights are the perfect way to give mindfulness a try. They are designed to be an easy beginner-level intro to what mindfulness is, and what (who) Mindful Boston is. These events are laid-back, welcoming, and completely free! The length of the meditation itself is usually about 15 to 25 minutes long. No previous experience is required; the meditation will be easy for beginners to understand and will begin with a brief discussion about meditation, where participants are encouraged to ask questions and share their thoughts.
There are no special requirements for meditation practice. But if you do prefer to sit on the floor, it's fine to bring a cushion for yourself. If you require a chair for health reasons, make sure to RSVP at Mindful Boston’s Meetup page and let us know. www.meetup.com/MindfulBoston/
