As rents and cost of living rise across Boston, women are finding innovative ways to bring in extra income while holding down a 9-5. With more than 9 million women-owned businesses in the U.S. today, women are also transitioning from part-time side hustlers to full-time bosses.
In this town hall, we'll talk gender bias in the world of side hustles, indicators it may be time to take that hustle full-time, and how to find balance and fulfillment in the gig economy. Our speakers will share their experiences and offer tips around setting up a hustle, marketing your brand, and overcoming the early challenges any new business will face.
Our Panelists:
Amy Parker, Design Director / Co-founder at Woods Creative LLC / Conference Speaker
Leora Viega Rifkin, MAPP , Co-founder & Chief of Possibility, Boston's Racial and Economic Activated Dialogues (BREAD) / Freelance Writer / Founder & Head Canary, Canary Rising
Erin Webster, Director of Marketing, Lose it! / Fitness Instructor
