Join the KSA and former Boston City Councilor Tito Jackson for a screening and discussion of HBO’s Murder in Boston, Episode 1. The first in a series, this film explores the complex history of race-based hostilities in Boston against the backdrop of the 1989 case of Charles Stuart, whose frantic 911 call reporting that he and his wife -- a white couple -- had been shot by a Black man, ignited a firestorm.
Refreshments will be provided. This event is free and open to the public, space is limited. RSVP required to reserve your seat.
The Belonging in Kendall Film Series is sponsored by Ipsen and Draper Labs with support from the City of Cambridge and MIT.
