THE New England Renaissance Festival
The realm is abuzz with the return of Queen Anne. She is looking forward to visiting with her royal artisans and being entertained by all of the wonderful new performers in the village.
Our enchanted forest welcomes: THREE PINTS SHY, an upbeat Celtic group; UP IN ARMS, a handsomely skilled acrobat and juggler. Patrons won’t want to miss the wonderful music and singing from MERAKI CARAVAN. Returning for the following dates only (Sept. 1, 2, 3, 8, 9, 15, 16, 22, 23) is SNORKLE THE TRAINED STUNT PIG and his talented juggling parents.
Her Majesty Queen Anne welcomes two new princesses to her service and the King’s animal whisperer welcomed the birth of two tiger cubs earlier this year and our loyal patrons will be able to view them in our Royal Zoo.
King Richard’s Faire has fabulous new musicians as well, including: An Accordion Extraordinaire; musical group, MUSIC THE GATHERING and new members of our ROYAL COURT.
The royal chef has been busy all year creating scrumptious new tantalizing treats for royalty, nobles and peasants alike.
Our new Princesses will enjoy shopping amongst the realm’s newest and finest merchants: MIDGARD ARMORY ~ handcrafted swords and weapons; NAME ART ~ hand painted names with an Asian flare; RED FALCON LEATHER & ARMOUR ~ beautifully crafted leather wares; engraved drinking horns and wooden signs by DEEVIOUS ART. All the ladies in the realm will be pining over the new renaissance clothing made by FIONA’S FINERIES; hand-painted home décor from WIZARD’S HOME DÉCOR; have your future read by our talented URTHBOUND MYSTIC; make sure to stop and get your hand-carved broom, walking staff or tree art from SEEKERS & SETTLERS in our tournament field.
You won’t want to miss these guest artisans while they briefly visit our realm: DRAGONFLY’S REALM ~ games for all to play (Sept. 1, 2, 3, 8 & 9); TOKENS OF ANTIQUITY ~ beautiful crafted jewelry (Sept. 1, 2, 3, 8 & 9); HENNA BY HUMI ~ beautiful detailed henna tattoos (Sept. 8, 9, 15, 16, 22 & 23) and the ENCHANTED GLYPH ~ gorgeous Celtic artwork, prints and pendants (Oct. 13, 14, 20 & 21).
