The Kids Union Dance Parties are starting up again on January 5th at Thunder Road with a book release party for The Salty Avocado by Kids Union producer Aaron Cohen. The Kids Union Dance Parties are a fun indoor activity for kids who need to wiggle in the afternoon - there's only so many times you're willing to freeze your bum off at the park. Come have an adult beverage and meet other neighborhood parents. The dance party is perfect for all ages of kids who need to get the willies out, but 18-months to six is probably the sweet spot. There's music, kids, food, and drinks! (And we're psyched there will even be a special kids menu now.)


The Salty Avocado is a children's book about a truly rotten fruit who finds redemption in the healing power of raspberry hugs. The book features Chris Piascik's vibrant illustrations and style-defining lettering matched with Aaron Cohen's playful and endearing story. This book is for kids who like big colors and catchy words, but it's also for parents who end up reading the same story every single night.


If you've already got a copy of the book, entry is free for your entire family. If you buy a copy of the book at the door, entry is free for your entire family.
