Welcome to the Kaleidoscope Opening Night & Queer Artist Mixer! Join us at the Boston Figurative Art Center for an evening of art, music, and community. This event is a celebration of queerness, creativity, and community. Come make connections, make some art, and celebrate the vibrant works on display. This event kicks off a week of queer, creative programming as a part of Kaleidoscope week at BFAC!
We will be focused on highlighting queer artists but all are welcome, whether or not you identify as an artist or queer.
Accessibility notes:
As a commitment to the safety and well-being of our community, this will be a covid-cautious event. Masks will be required and available at the door. We encourage you to take a rapid test before joining and please, if you are experiencing any symptoms, stay home! We thank you in advance for sharing in our vigilance of protecting our most vulnerable community members.
Light refreshments will be served. There will be music playing. Overhead lighting will be kept to a minimum. There is step free access to the building and space.
For our introverted friends, there will be ways of connecting with others that are not the typical "networking" method!
