"Kaleidoscope: Queer Visions" is a queer community art initiative, sponsored by the Mass Cultural Council, Somerville Local Cultural Commission, and the Boston Figurative Art Center.
Welcome to the closing day of Kaleidoscope - A Day of Queer Dreaming at the Boston Figurative Art Center!
Join us throughout the day on Saturday, May 11, 2024 from 11:00 AM - 10:00 PM at the Boston Figurative Art Center for a day of queer celebration, imagination and creation.
This event is a space for queer artists, queer folks & their loved ones to come together, dream, create, and connect. We will have workshops, art on display, live performances, and more! Come as you are and let's dream together!
If you'd like to attend a FREE workshop, please reserve a ticket so we can keep track of numbers. You are welcome to come any and all! toWalk-ins are welcome but we can't guarantee materials for too many people past the workshop capacity.
Outside of scheduled programming, we will have materials to vision board, collage, and plenty of time to soak up the incredible art in the space. If you don't want to participate in a scheduled workshop, you are still welcome and encouraged to join us and hang out!

As a commitment to the safety and well-being of our community, this will be a covid-cautious event. Masks will be required and available at the door. We encourage you to take a rapid test before joining and please, if you are experiencing any symptoms, stay home! We thank you in advance for sharing in our vigilance of protecting our most vulnerable community members.
Light refreshments will be served. There will be music playing. Overhead lighting will be kept to a minimum. There is step free access to the building and space.
