Join the Boston Public Library in partnership with Beacon Hill Village for this online program. Exercise is Medicine — for any stage of life! Judy Foreman, an award-winning medical journalist and author, will outline the many biological changes that occur with exercise, and the exciting recent research showing that exercise slows the aging process. She will discuss the biology of aging and explain why physical activity has such profound beneficial effects on the brain, the immune system, the heart, and all the other organs in the body.
