The summer solstice is almost here and Annie and the Fur Trappers are playing at Jamaica Pond on June 15th!
- 4pm-5pm Beginner lesson
- 5pm-6pm Break for setup and sound check
- 6pm-sunset (8:23pm) Dancing!
Suggested donation:
- $20 general
- $10 student/senior
- FREE for volunteers! Please email us at [email protected] if you would be willing to help out for half an hour at the door, and let us know your preference among these slots: 3:30-4, 4-4:30, 5:30-6, 6-6:30, 6:30-7, 7-7:30, 7:30-8.
We can accept donations by cash or Venmo. All donations go to support our mission: swing dancing in the JP area, enjoying nature, honoring the roots of the art form in pre-WWII Harlem, inclusivity, and live music.
Bring outdoor dance shoes and a water bottle!
In honor of midsummer, consider a wreath of (plastic?) flowers in your hair!
