Come to JP and play casual chess and participate in chess tournaments as part of Jamaica Plain's Open Streets 2024 event on Sunday, July 21, 2024.
The tournament is unrated and open to everyone. Last year we had a $250 prize fund thanks to generous donors such as Kendall Dental, Caffe Nero, JP Seafood, On Centre, J.P. Licks and Blue Frog Bakery. We also awarded a number of book prizes. We are seeking prize donors for this year's tournaments.

As the event takes place in an open public place please take care of your belongings. Juniors require parental supervision. Also, as we shall be outdoors, we suggest wearing a hat and using sunscreen.
