INÃ plays, interprets, and reinterprets music of the African-Diaspora specifically through the traditional musics of Cuba and Brazil. Through the use of just singers and drummers they engage their audience with vocal harmonies, dancing, and drumming. Having just started in May of 2016, INĀ (under their previous name "Bata Boston"). has already performed all around Boston at The Lilypad, Gallery 263, New England Conservatory's Brown Hall, CityPOP Egleston, The Museum of Fine Arts for Make Music Boston, and at the Journeys in Sound series at the Arts at the Armory Cafe in Somerville.

Night Tree, though rooted in the Celtic folk tradition, uses Celtic as well as other folk traditions such as Swedish, Baltic, Jewish, American Folk, Progressive Bluegrass and even the Avant-garde to influence their original works. After discovering their special Night Tree sound that spans the dark resonance of the cello, baritone sax, and cajon to the drones of the accordion all the way through the soaring melodies of their dueling fiddles, they began writing themselves originals that explore there expansive sound. As their shows combine both traditional and original arrangements this Boston based folk band that has been awarded the New England Conservatory Wildcard Honors Ensemble for 2016-2017. They just opened for the renowned Celtic group Solas at the Portsmouth Music Hall this month and played 3 dates in the Washington, DC.
