The Boston Calendar & Joyraft, the #1 platform in New England for discovering things to do around you, is growing and we’re looking for an outgoing, well-connected partnerships and lead generation professional to help expand our partnerships and campaigns.

If you love networking, meeting new people, going to events, and talking about marketing and city experiences, this role is for you.

What you’ll do:

• Go where the people are: Attend networking events, industry mixers, brand launches, community gatherings, panels, and anything relevant where potential partners might be.
• Tell our story: Comfortably and confidently share what The Boston Calendar & Joyraft is, what we do, who we reach, and how we help businesses grow.
• Generate leads: Make connections, collect contacts, and open conversations that can turn into campaign opportunities.
• Keep the momentum going: Follow up with people you meet, nurture relationships, and keep opportunities warm.
• Report back to the team: Share who you met, what the businesses’ needs are, and where the next opportunities are coming from.

You won’t be closing deals solo. You’ll be filling the pipeline and helping spark the partnerships.

You’re a fit if you are:

• Outgoing, social, and genuinely like meeting new people
• Comfortable walking into events solo and striking up conversations
• Well-connected in Boston or excited to build a network fast
• Organized enough to track leads and follow up
• Interested in marketing, events, media, or partnerships
• Proactive and self-directed

No corporate sales background required. Hospitality, events, brand ambassador, or community roles translate well here.

Compensation:

• Monthly retainer + commission on leads that convert to revenue
• Bonuses tied to partnership growth
• Strong upside as deals scale
