Our “Strings for Sistema” gala will be held at the Dane Estate on June 4th starting at 5:00 p.m. as a fundraiser to provide stringed instruments to El Sistema-based programs throughout the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

El Sistema is a unique and proven model for changing the lives of children through music education, but because string instruments are expensive to acquire and maintain, these programs struggle to provide the necessary tools to the communities they serve. Through our partnerships with the Massachusetts Cultural Council, we have been able to supply string instruments to children who would not otherwise have had the opportunity to play.


In the past two years, we have provided 300 children with violins, violas, and cellos with a combination of funding from grants, government, and the generosity of people like you.
