The Harvard-Radcliffe Chorus, a college, university and community chorus presents Music of the Reformation by Johann Sebastian Bach. Since October 31, 2017 is the 500th Anniversary of the Reformation it is fitting that we dedicate our Fall Concert to the celebration of one of Luther’s most ardent warriors, Johann Sebastian Bach. Indeed, it has been said that Bach’s works are “the Reformation set to music.”

The Harvard-Radcliffe Chorus will be presenting three of J.S. Bach’s works this season, a mass and two cantatas:
Johann Sebastian Bach: Music of the Reformation
Mass in G major, (BWV 236),

and
Nun danket alle Gott (BWV 192)
