The brain child of Mayor Joe Curtatone, who played trumpet in the Somerville High School Jazz Band, Joe’s Jazz and Blues Festival is back this year! On Saturday June 15th, get ready for a free all-day outdoor event in beautiful Powderhouse Park (a.k.a Nathan Tufts Park)! Bring a friend, blanket, and a picnic for a great afternoon filled with music under the trees!
There will be non-stop music from 12:00 - 6:00pm. The lineup includes The Somerville High School Jazz Band, Shokazoba, Meridian 71, Joe Bargar & The Soul Providers, BJ Magoon & Driving Sideways, Ken Field Nonstandards,.
