Judy Bolton-Fasman is a writer, JewishBoston.com reporter, and a four-time recipient of the Simon Rockower Award from the American Jewish Press Association. Her memoir "Asylum: A Memoir of Family Secrets" will be published this fall. The book recounts Judy Bolton-Fasman’s search for answers to the mysteries of her Cuban-born, Sephardic, mother, and her elusive, Ashkenazi, Yale-educated father.
