Explore the violin across Syrian Jewish, Russian, Jewish & traditional Greek cultures with music by Beth Bahia Cohen!
Beth has been playing traditional Greek music on the violin & several types of lyras for many years, learning from & performing with violin & lyra players from Andros, Sifnos, Kythnos, Crete, Epiros, Macedonia, & elsewhere. Beth has performed nationally in concerts at Greek dance symposiums. Today, she leads the Berklee Greek Ensemble & the Berklee Global Strings Ensemble.
