Jewelry Edition Vol. 4 (exhibition opening party)

Melle Finelli Studio will host Jewelry Edition Volume 4, a traveling exhibition of contemporary jewelry, for the month of September. This group show featuring six artists is organized and curated by jewelry artists Kat Cole and Laura Wood.

Jewelry Edition was started by Kat Cole and Laura Wood in 2012 as a new type of opportunity for early career artists to gain national exposure. Through our diverse network we are able to offer many different opportunities to the jewelers that we curate into JE. Over the last three years JE has represented 18 artists and traveled their work to different locations including galleries, conferences, institutions, and public spaces each year. These artists have gone on to gain national representation and prosper in their individual careers. Volume 4 presents a shift from exclusively emerging artists to exhibiting a more diverse range of makers at varying points of their careers. The collection will feature 6 makers and a smaller more focused grouping of work by each artist.

Melle Finelli Studio is located in the courtyard at 46 Waltham Street in Boston's South End.
The show will be on view September 1st to late September. Closing date TBD.
