Led by composer/arranger/bassist Manuel Kaufmann, this three-horn sextet explores powerful and impressionistic sounds. It features post-bop-tinged originals plus fresh arrangements of the Great American Songbook, with Rick DiMuzio, Randy Pingrey, Daniel Rosenthal, Douglas Johnson, and Mike Connors.


Jazz Sundays at the Square Root brings together Boston’s best jazz artists in an intimate restaurant setting for performances and themed jams. Cover $10-20 at the door pays the musicians.
