Waltham Common 11 AM Gerry Beaudoin Trio with three time Grammy winning saxophonist Fred Lipsius from BS&T.
Fred Lipsius is an American musician who is the original saxophonist and arranger for the jazz-rock band Blood, Sweat & Tears, for which he played alto saxophone and piano. He was with the band from 1967 to 1971 and has collected 3 GRAMMY Awards and 9 Gold Records.
The Gerry Beaudoin Trio is the musical vehicle for award winning jazz and blues guitarist Gerry Beaudoin. Called "New England's premier jazz guitarist" by Just Jazz Guitar Magazine, and "A swing guitar master" by the Boston Globe.
Waltham Day is a free & fun family-friendly event that's held every year to join together to celebrate our amazing community! Local Waltham businesses will set up booths with their products/food, and there will be lots of free entertainment, games & fun for all! The Waltham Museum is also free for a special exhibit 'Something Funny’s Going on at the Waltham Museum!!!' 25 Lexington Street across from the Central Square Parking Deck on Lexington Street.
The Common is on the T Fitchburg Line, and the Carter Street Bus Station.
